2006 Regular Session

House Bill 5358

AN ACT EXPANDING TO USES FOR WHICH STATE BOND PROCEEDS MAY BE USED BY OPERATION HOPE, FAIRFIELD.

Did not become law. It stopped in the House of Representatives's Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee on February 17, 2006. The 2006 session has ended.

What it does

The synopsis the General Assembly published with the bill.

To allow Operation Hope the opportunity to explore a long-term lease (rather than be limited to a purchase only), which may be currently available, in addition to the preliminary plan of purchasing an administration building, and to also have this grant-in-aid go to Operation Hope directly, instead of through the town of Fairfield.
